Function 

Set the maximum size of communication packets.

Syntax 

{ dbsrv9 | dbeng9 } -p
        integer ...

Applies to 

All operating systems and servers.

Description 

The default is 1460 bytes. The minimum value is 300 bytes and the maximum is 16 000.
