Compressing a database using the Compress Database wizard

To compress a database file

  1. In the left pane, select the Adaptive Server Anywhere plug-in.

  2. In the right pane, click the Utilities tab.

  3. In the right pane, double-click Compress Database.

    The Compress Database wizard appears.

  4. Follow the instructions in the wizard.

Tip 
You can also access the Compress Database wizard from within Sybase Central by right-clicking a database, and choosing Compress Database from the popup menu.
