    Lesson 2: Create a basic report

Set up the design environment

In this section you will make modifications to the controls, grid and ruler.

To set up the design environment

1. From the Design menu, choose Options.

   The Report Options property sheet appears.

2. Make sure that the following options are selected: Show Grid, Show Ruler, and Show Edges.

3. Make sure that Snap to Grid is not selected.

4. Click Help to see descriptions of all options.

5. Click OK.
