Introducing SQL Anywhere Studio
Tutorial: Managing Databases with Sybase Central

Restore the sample database

Now that you have completed this tutorial, you should restore the sample database so that it can be used again. In Lesson 1: Start Sybase Central, you created a copy of asademo.db. You can now replace the version of asademo.db that you just changed with the copy. Delete asademo.log.

If you did not create a copy of asademo.db, you can restore the sample database by deleting the Sales group and the user Sandy.

To delete users and groups

  1. Select the Users & Groups folder in the left pane.

  2. Right-click the icon of the user or group in the right pane.

  3. Choose Delete from the popup menu and acknowledge the deletion.
