      -e extended options

NewMobiLinkPwd (mn) extended option

Function 

Specifies a new password.

Syntax 

dbmlsync -e mn=new-password; ...

Description 

Specifies a password for the MobiLink user whose subscriptions are being synchronized. Use this option when you want to change an existing password. The default is NULL.

This option has a short form and long form: you can use mn or NewMobiLinkPwd.

You can also store extended options in the database. For more information about dbmlsync extended options, see -e extended options.

Example 

The following dbmlsync command line illustrates how you can set this option when you start dbmlsync:

dbmlsync -e "mp=oldpassword; mn=newpassword"

The following SQL statement illustrates how you can store this option in the database:

CREATE SYNCHRONIZATION SUBSCRIPTION
   TO sales_publication
   FOR ml_user1
   OPTION mn='SQL';
