FLEXlm End Users Guide

Additional license manager information can be found in the FLEXlm End Users Guide. This manual is for both the C and Java versions of the license manager, but some of the information does not apply to Java.

Java applications cannot access environment variables. So Java clients cannot find the license file using the LM_LICENSE_FILE environment variable. Instead, JMSL uses the Java system property com.imsl.license.path.
The Java version of the license manager does not support Redundant License Servers.
